Einblick auch in den Konflikt von französisch- und englischsprachigen Kanadiern in der Provinz Quebec und Wissenswertes über die Geschichte des Bogens. Dieses Hörbuch abzuschalten ist schwierig! Suchtgefahr!

Vielschichtig erzählt mit erstklassigen psychologisch tiefgründigen Akteuren.
Adam Sims differenziert Personen und Akzente erstklassig. Mittlerweile bin ich bei der achten Folge angelangt und es wird weder langweilig noch vorhersehbar.
Auch die Einblicke in die Kunst - und Literaturszene in der Serie sind sehr tiefgründig und greifbar beschrieben. Ich verbringe gerne Zeit in 'Three Pines', hoffentlich weiter mit Adam Sims.

Edelkrimi

Die Geschichte entwickelt sich langsam, ich wusste lange nicht, worauf sie hinaus läuft - aber dann kam Tempo auf. Trotzdem war ich nicht so recht gefesselt. Auflösung fand ich recht stimmig.

Ist vom Stil ein typischer who has done it, relativ viele Charaktere, die man ganz gut unterscheiden kann, denn der Sprecher isr prima!
Ob ich die Reihe weiter höre, weiß ich noch nicht.

This series had often been recommended to me because I love non gory crime books, and finally I’ve read it - don’t know what too me so long!
It’s a lovely gentle but well told story with memorable, likeable characters in a well plotted crime story. It takes place in Three Pines village in Quebec and after reading about the characters there, you almost want to move there! Great character development and I look forward to meeting everyone again in the next book of the series!
