Wunderbar spannend

Der Sprecher ist alles andere als fesselnd und erzählt die Geschicht so monoton wie ein dritt Klässler ein Gedicht. Tatsächlich hätte mich das fast davon abgehalten, das Buch zu kaufen. Doch die Geschichte hatte meine Aufmerksamkeit geweckt und leider sind wir im deutschen LitRPG Genre noch sehr begrenzt. Wie sich herausgestellte was es kein Fehler das Buch zu kaufen.

Der kleine findige Goblin findet immer einen Weg aus der aktuellen Misere und zieht meist noch die einen oder anderen Vorteile daraus. Da macht die Geschichte aber auch vorhersehbar, man bangt nicht um ihn und macht sich auch keine großen Sorgen um seine Begleiter. Zusätzlich fesselt mich aber das Konzept des überlegenen Hauptcharakters dem keiner das Wasser reichen kann, der aber im ersten Augenblick wie ein Nichtsnutz wirkt und immer und immer stärker stehts wieder.

Die Geschichte ist hoch interessant und entschuldigt auf jeden Fall für den Sprecher, ich kann die nächste Übersetzung kaum erwarten.

playing a goblin with herbalist profession and a vampyric curse is not easy and that's what makes this LitRPG so interesting: the emphasis is on "adventure" and not only "combat". Of course you always know that wharever happens it will turn out good (too easy) but you will be surprised how the situations are resolved. It's maybe " light" literature but i am still waiting for the next book to be released!

Die Geschichte war eigentlich ganz gut, aber das Frauenbild geht leider überhaupt nicht klar. Echt schade aber das hat es für mich leider ruiniert.

why does he not describe any character or action scene in detail? Every discussion, every opportunity for depth, every action scene is dealt with in a calm, observing manner, without drama or feeling of immersion.
I am used to flat characters, but the action scenes really annoyed me in this book - for example: a pirate boardingparty is on its way, 12 undying aboard, 12 possibilities to make an interesting fight, 12 higher-leveled killing machines to challenge the authors ingenuity and creativity to find ways counteracting the enemies - 3 drowning and 9 surrendering?! Seriously? And the same happens in every other situation, in one way or another: being kidnapped? A flashbang, a SWAT-team and 2min later, everythings fine. An all out Attack on him within throwing-distance? Who cares, let me just look at this dying NPC-dwarf because that's so much more interesting and makes the character look heroic, while in truth the whole story is just not that well thought through.
