brilliant, captivating and exciting. I liked it even better than book 1.
I love the characters, they're v multij facetted and that makes it interesting to follow. Insane maneuvers that makes one wish you could see it.
There's way less th'alias and chiri (for those who don't like them), the Narrator is awesome as always. I finshed this quicker than I expected bc I was so into it. Very excited for book 3! I just love thrawn

After Chaos Rising I wasn't expecting the second book to be so intense and captivating. As always, Zahn is a master of weaving historical events into the story, in this case the Shock-Doctrine. A brilliantly written masterpiece that explores more of the Chiss culture than we had previously seen.
