The setting of the story is a fantasy world, which started its industrial revolution. The economy is based (i) on the industrially organized dungeon diving for raw materials and (b) exploitation of the working poor in factories, where the raw materials are turned into products. Think early 19th century England: starvation, smog, child labour, union busting, just with magic and a skill system. The MC is isekai-ed by a nature Goddess, who is dying because of the industrialisation, and raised in a slum by two loving parents who work as factory workers.
This book covers the early childhood of the MC. And by "early", I mean that she is 6 years old at the end of the book. And this is a strength and a weakness of the book. It is a strength in the sense that the author takes the time to introduce the characters and the setting properly, which provides depth to the characters and their world. However, the disadvantage is that even if the MC has the benefit of memories of a previous life, there is only so much action preschool-aged children get into: they stay at home with their parents, see a day nanny or, if they are lucky, are allowed to play with other children of their own age. So don't expect action-packed sword fights in this book. It might not for everybody, but in my opinion the book is excellent, I highly recommend it.

The reason I give only "4 stars" is the duration. 7 hours for one credit is very short. In particular, because at the end one this book, it feels like one has finished only the introduction to the world and the background of the character, and that the main plot still has yet to start. Combining the first two volumes into one book, would have been more appropriate.

the dialect is awefull to understand and than the book dialect too is nearly uncoprehensibl.

Das Horbach war ganz ok, nichts überragendes. Das Einzige, was ein bisschen gestört hat, war der Akzent der Sprecherin, der es manchmal schwerer gemacht hat es zu verstehen. Es ging aber.

Honestly the story and VA are great.
Another really nice story by the big birb.
It takes inspiration from Beneath the Dragon Eye Moon - following a reincarnated girl from baby age, seeing her grow up. It works well and it’s very entertaining.

My one negative: this is a premium product - what I mean by that is that you don’t get a lot of bang for your credit. It’s very short. Extremely short. If you only have 1 credit a month I’d say it’s a pass. There’s story’s with equal quality and double, triple or even quadruple the playtime. I would have loved to see book 1+2 in one audiobook for a fair length.
