This was dark. Like ... dark. This is the prequel to the Boston Belles series about Sailor & Sam's parents. Troy seems almost darker than Sam, he isn't even morally grey he is straight up black. Him and Sparrow have a very angsty dynamic, she refuses to be pushed around and he enjoys her fire. The tension
was and the whole thing with Brock & Catalina broke my heart. I loved it. Narration was great too, props to Michael Pauley for voicing both characters.
