Okay, I think this might be the first book by Melissa Foster I ever read - like 10yrs. or so ago. Only read it once and just listened to it now as there are many other great books in the series that grew by the yrs. and other authors as well. Anyway, Blake and Danica have very different backgrounds that thankfully do not keep them apart in the long run. Though the story is a liiiiitle like bubblegum - taking lots of time to get into motion, but with Danica‘s sister and Blake‘s cousins (that would be the Braden’s later on) th er r is a lot of potential for future books.
BJ Harrison does have a great voice to bring these characters to life as well. Great.
