The story itself is a very tragic love story that covers loss and trauma in a relationship in an unusual way.
The FMC definitely needs therapy and I didn’t bought how she could pull herself out of her head (and a possible eating disorder) all by herself and some friends’ advice after soaking in her trauma, hurt and disappointment about the loss of her broken dreams for over a year. In addition she sometimes displayed a problematic self value by fixating on having a child as her only reason to take care of herself.
The trigger warning foreshadowed unfortunately part of the story.
And please if you write a story of giving birth don’t forget the afterbirth. Especially if it’s a precipitate labor this doesn’t take ages…
