Über diesen Titel

My name is Leah, and I am a Cazador. Trained to hunt and kill vampires over 300 years ago, my training became essential once I became one of those monsters.

The underbelly of the supernatural world has begun to bleed into the human world, and journalist Rachel Sambrook is asking too many dangerous questions. Unwittingly, she's revealed a conspiracy I had hoped would never become a reality: using vampire blood for human experiments.

As I attempt to contain her, she's by my side, and the truth of just how deep the darkness goes is exposed. Unfortunately, the consequences have also brought forth the creatures that hide around every corner, thirsty for flesh.

The only question remaining is which one of us will survive the inevitable bloodbath?

I'm really annoyed that I can't like this story, most of it is well crafted, the setting is interesting and I like the characters. But there are some glaring flaws, first the ppl don't tell eatchother enough, this whole story would probably half as long if ppl talked with eatchother and worked together. And after hours of thinking "Talk to eatchother!" I just couldn't enjoy the story anymore. The second flaw is that the sudden character change from "kill all vampires" to "well maybe we can let one go" feels charring and is absolutely unbelieveable. And then the third flaw is that Lea as such an accomplished and experienced vampire hunter acts extremly reckless for no reason. There are multiple situations in the book when she can choose between efficient and safer approaches or she can choose reckless, dramatic approaches. Most of the time she takes the latter even though these approaches get her or others damaged more often than not and half the time the enemy escapes, and that makes no sense in context with her personality.

so annoying
