Without spoiling any of the Story, let me take another view of the Charcharodons.

We all have heard a lot over the Shark themed Marines, lot's of theories, snip bits and inside jokes but actual listening to one of their stories... saying that they have depth like the ocean isn't just a wordplay, it's true.

sorry ich komme einfach mit diesen namensschöpfungen der spacesharks klar. kann der Geschichte einfach nicht folgen weil ich "hehe" von "hohe" von "hote" unterscheiden kann

After listening to more than 20 Warhammer 40k audiobooks and reading atleast that same number myself, I can sadly say that this was the most boring and disappointing novel I have heard so far. The book was more strongly focused on the dark eldar than on anything else. I came to learn more about the Charcharodons but heard nothing but repetition about the Void and the silence.

At least the Narrator had such a monotone Voice that it functioned well as a sleeping aid.
