Die Geschchte ist eine tolle Fortsetzung der bisherigen Bücher. Der Sprecher ist gut zu verstehen, leider unterscheidet er die Personen nicht deutlich. Ich freue mich auf das nächste Buch.

The background noises where annoying, especially towards the end. The "helpless pretty woman needs rescuing by a strong man" trope is getting a bit boring. Not the best book of the series.

If you read a lot of crime stories and thrillers, you will find this annoyingly predictable. At certain key points, you want to climb into the story and just start hitting characters over the head for being obtuse. The conclusion has one nice twist but then fizzles out. The psychopathic villain has no real objective - to mangle an old saying, he kills his nose to spite his face. From a moralist perspective, it's really hard to understand how the 'reason' for the killings can just stand by until the last possible minute.

Despite its many problems, it's not the worst such novel I've ever read. The antihero protagonist is quite believable if not especially likeable.

Give it a try if you must. The narrator reads it quite well!
