I devoured this book back in 2012 and just loved it all over again as an audio book. Jennifer Ikeda read it just impeccably!

This one has a too bit many words and not so much action. But now that I read through the whole trilogy, I understand that the scene had to be set and it does all make sense at the end of the storyline. It's very cheesy, much more so than the first book, but I do like the newly introduced characters a lot - more even than the main characters!

amazing fairy tale for adults

Jennifer Ikeda macht ihre Sache echt super, ich liebe ihre Stimme und bin beeindruckt, wie sie jedem Charakter eine unverwechselbare eigene Stimme verleiht. Dennoch hab ich den Roman nicht bis zum Ende durchhalten können, es war nur eine Quälerei. Die Story verwindet sich in endlosen Spiralen und ewigem Palaber, geschmückt mit zuviel Kitsch für meinen Geschmack. Man hat noch stärker als im ersten Teil das Gefühl, dass die Story einfach nicht in Gang kommt. Den dritten Teil werde ich mir auch nicht mehr antun. Für mich endet die Reise hier ...

Bisschen wie Twilight, etwas wenig Action, Spannung nimmt ab und zu ab, aber man will trotzdem wissen wie es weitergeht

Das Horbach ist leider über die Zeit fehlerhaft geworden, es fehlen ganze Kapitel oder sie sind mittendrin abgeschnitten
