I wasn't happy about the first book. Too brutal, too superficial in the actual writing. But I decided to give it another try and buy volume 2.
Shouldn't have...
Again: too brutal, too little literal talent, way too much focus on the sexual orientation of a sidekick and the oh so mean reaction of a relative...
All in all it's more of a school essay than a novel.
I'm definitely gonna miss out on part 3.
The narrator is very good though. Should practise on the Irish lilt, though.
