I've only listened to the beginning but I already despise the protagonist. She could do so many things to help herself but instead she hurts everybody around her and whines about her woes.

protagonist doesn't deserve respect

I read the Amazon reviews and just don’t get it. I wanted to like it so much, cause I’m just a sucker for a steamy romance, especially with multiple hot and intelligent men that just want to rip the heroins cloths of and treat her like a goddess. But this book makes no sense.. the story jumps in weird ways I just wasn’t able to follow, plus there is absolutely no imagination in the character development or how the relationships develop. On second he hates succumbs then he sees her, runs away and hex thing is they live each other and want to rip each other’s clothes of? I get that there is this prophecy involved and I am not opposed to explain something with magic and that some things just are the way they are without further explanation.. but this just didn’t add up whatsoever. Maybe it’s one of those stories that could actually have to read? I don’t know, I actually thing the reading was really well done.. I can’t explain it.. just didn’t make any sense to me and I really tried and listened to the whole audiobook.. but even at the end, nothing fell into place and closed all the gaps in the story.. so I am none the wiser and will not risk the purchase of the second book.
