All books are stand alone but play in the same world. In my opinion, you really don't have to listen to or read the books before this to understand the story.
The whole series lacks some Explanations to really understand the world.
The Story:
the story was entertaining though while the first book was funny, this was barely funny.
Though the Story of this book was better than the second book of this series.
All books so far where entertaining but not amazing.

Just keep in mind that at the end of the audiobook they say "to be continued" but there is no second book with her as the main character up to this date available at audible. Maybe her story continues in one of the other audiobooks but only as a side character story? I doubt it honestly. But don't worry I wouldn't even consider this as an open end since there aren't any questions left open. This has a proper end but the "to be continued" is misleading.
Really entertaining FMC - Definiteley worth a read!
