An interesting story. No OP Charakters, a nice description of an empire rotten by decadence and all based on a mistery.
The authors summary of the book is a little of topic and does the story not enough credit.
Will listen to the next installment.

Very different to the previous work, pure sci-fi

Der sprecher klingt furchtbar gehetzt was das Hörbuch für mich sehr anstrengend gemacht hat die story ist ganz ok allerdings habe ich auch schon bessere gehört oder gelesen

Insgesamt schon interessanter plot. Aber die Charakterentwicklung ist doch eher realitätsfern. Kein Charakter hat wirklich tiefe und die Herausforderung sind sehr staged, speziell auf den Hauptcharakter zugeschnitten. Anschließend wird er für die einfachsten Dinge gefeiert und lebt ab und zu Machtfantasien ohne Konsequenzen aus. Nicht mein Fall. Schade.
