A simple regression story with a black and white characters. The vilian of the story is just evil without any background. But still sometimes these stories are still good and entertaining.
Not something with a mind-blowing story but just a nice an easy plot progression.

Die Kinder als Protagonisten (selbst wenn der Hauptcharakter die Chance auf ein 2tes Leben hat und eigentlich Erwachsen sein sollte) leiten eine klassische Schwarz / Weiß Geschichte ein > Arme Weisenkinder werden von bösen Klerikern für tötliche Versuche missbraucht, wobei jeder Auftritt von Ihnen mit einem klischeehaft narzistischen 3tes-Reich Mindset angekündigt wird (Du wagst es als schmutziger Schmarotzer meine Todespläne für dich zu umgehen um deine Freunde/Familie und das Königreich zu retten? Wie kannst du nur?!?). Jeder Gedankengang und jede Gefahr werden kindgerecht erklärt, und alles ist stark überzeichnet und klischeehaft.
Kurzum ein Kinderbuch mit einigen blutigen Kämpfen und unglaubwürdigen und übertrieben Bösewichten.

usually this book would get a 4/5 or 5/5 rating if it wasn't for one of the characters that follows the main character around. this character is horrifically annoying and not even in a funny or comedic relive kind of way. it's almost as if the author deliberately set out to make the most useless and annoying character he could ever invent and then gave it plot armor. so just because of this the best rating i could give this book is 2/5 and even that was a struggle.
