I have lissend to all 3 books so far. And i Love it!
The Holl Story is on of the BEST Litrpg Rugoe Storrys i know. It is even Not necessary to read the Good Guys Books, nur ist helps to have a little bit of knowlege of the World or the Game.

In this series a young man gets the opportunity to start over his life in a gaming world. He decides to become a thief and enters this strange, new video game like world and the struggle begins.

I can't really tell you much about the story itself without spoilers, but the world building is insane. That's what I love so much about LitRPG - it's like reading a game (I used to play a lot of WoW) and as someone who sees the scenes played out in front of their inner eye, it's oddly satisfying to read about someone doing quests and leveling up.

The world the author has created here is huge and includes a plethora of magical beings, artifacts, fights and so on.

I'll definitely read book 2 soon.

This is exactly what I want in LitRPG:
- very little game mechanics
- heavy focus on the story-telling
- detailed world building
- slow character development
- high quality writing

The read feels like a medieval fantastic story, and a good one. You forget the RPG side because game mechanics are very much faded, in the background.
