Great in almost every aspect
I really don't have anything against the book. The story is great, characters are, beyond a little stoicisim at times, believable. The one mistake the author makes is that, whenever the dragons speak in their own language, it's like 'later (as in much later) X told protagonist that it meant Y/ protagonist would only later know the true meaning of Z' which sucks all the tention out of a scene, given that this 'later' means that he'll survive whatever is thrown at him.
The naration is high quality. The vocies for the dragons do warrent praise especially. An overall well done job. There was however, one chapter, I think its 18 or 19, where the audio quality suddenly took a nose dive, as if the microphone had been switched from a studio mic to a 20 headset one from the store of your convinience. Neither the chapter before or after had that problem, and I did a double take at the start of it, fearing that my own headphones had somehow given up.

Amazing Dragon Transformation Story
This Audiobook is amazing. It starts a bit painfully with physical and mental torture and a forced transformation, but as soon as the main character breaks out and finds another dragon who decides to teach him how to actually be a dragon - that's when the book becomes amazing.
I didn't like the fact that (SPOILER!) the main character shifted back into a human multiple times. This took away a bit of the excitement for me. The best and strongest experience of this book is whenever Caleb has to deal with his new dragon body and instincts. Though he always reverted back to dragon.
After a lot of struggles he eventually he actually wants to be a dragon. That character development made me happy.
I can't wait for the second Audiobook of the Series.
