Nachdem ich die moderne Verfilmung des Romans gesehen habe - leider wurde nur die Hälfte der Romanreihe verfilmt, sodass ich einigermaßen ratlos zurückblieb - wollte ich unbedingt wissen, wie die Handlung weitergeht. Leider habe ich auch nur 7 Teile gefunden, die ins Deutsche übersetzt worden sind. Ich wollte mir schon die 12-bändige Originalausgabe kaufen, da habe ich bei Audible die vollständige englische Hörbuchausgabe entdeckt. Weit mehr als 150 Stunden Kopfkino, so wundervoll lebendig gelesen von Oliver J. Hembrough, dass ich mich auf jede Minute freue, die noch vor mir liegt. Über die Qualität der Romanreihe ist anderswo bereits geschrieben worden. Ich empfehle sie von ganzem Herzen weiter!

Oliver J. Hemborough does the book much credit by bringing the many characters to life.
I like the way he reads and the way he portraits everyone through his voice. I loved his performance when I bought the title, and after listening to it again, I appreciate his narration of the novel even more.
The book is definitely worth being read/listened to more than once.
