I was curious when I heard this was about a female con-artist and tbh the book went far beyond my expectations.
In the beginning we follow Liz in her unsteady lifestyle as a con-artist and I immediately liked her. There are so many small details that basically made the character and her actions appear in front of me as I listened to her story.
When she gets an unexpected offer from the friend of a new acquaintance, we can see her being torn between following her usual lifestyle and becoming more honest. But soon she finds out that her employer and she have much more in common than anticipated...
I adored every minute of this audio book. The beginning is well paced and keeps it interesting. The last few chapters have a twist that captivated me to the point that I couldn't put the phone away.
(A tiny spoiler:) Usually I am not a big fan of open or ambiguous endings. But here it fits perfectly and I feel like every other ending wouldn't have fit as good. For me everything important was resolved and it just matched the flow of the rest of the story.

Intriguing beginning, an incredibly twist and am ending that leaves you breathless
