I absolutely loved Resisting Mr. Kane by Rosa Lucas! Maybe it was the perfect timing when I read it, or perhaps it resonated so deeply because of my own love for Mykonos, but this book captivated me from start to finish.
Rosa Lucas’s writing style and humor are completely my vibe—sharp, witty, and heartfelt in all the right places. The story features an age-gap romance, with a swoon-worthy single dad (Tristan), a holiday fling, and a recent law school graduate (Elli) finding her way. To top it off, he falls first (a trope I can never resist)! 5+🌶️
The British and Welsh backdrop adds a unique charm, making the setting feel alive and vibrant. And the narration by Ciaran Saward and Elena Valentine? Perfection. ❤️ It truly brought the story to life and made every moment more vivid.
I’ve already read/listened to it three times, and I’d highly recommend it to anyone looking for a fun, heartfelt romance with depth and humor. Rosa Lucas is definitely a favorite author of mine. I have already read all of her books. It’s such a pity that there are not so many. The whole London Mister Series is highly recommended.
