By chance, I recently discovered that there is a second book, Release. All the emotions came rushing back, rising and falling in a confusing mix that was hard to untangle.
Even so, I’m grateful that I was finally able to find some kind of peace with the “ending” of the story, at least to a certain extent. I still have many questions, and yet somehow I feel like I can answer them for myself.
This is simply a very special book, with a unique writing style and an unforgettable setting. There is something about it that lingers long after you finish it. I truly love it.
I would even welcome a third book, although I believe that Lucy Christopher has chosen to conclude the story with the second one.
