She’d give anything to have her husband back. But she’s about to learn that what’s dead should stay buried. Susie cherished every one of the 20 years she shared with Lance, and she thought it would last forever. Instead, she’s blindsided with grief when a tragic incident takes his life. Driven to extremes by the heart-wrenching loss, she risks exploring dangerous resurrection magic.
With her beloved back from the grave, Susie hopes things can return to the way they used to be...but then the killings begin. And as the body count rises on her reanimated lover’s murder spree, she fears she’s the only one who can put an end to the terror. Can Susie banish her sinister sweetheart to the afterlife, or will he get to her first?
Susie must wrestle with the love for her husband and the sinister force now possessing him. During the course of these events, a battle of good and evil ensues within each individual character, forcing the question: What would you do? Redemption is a chillingly adult dark horror novella. Some listeners have compared the tone of this Stephen King’s Pet Sematary and Carrie.
