Über diesen Titel
I died for Hostess cupcakes.
I know. Tragic, right? Even worse, after I came back, I still didn't get any cupcakes.
What I did get, however, is a six-foot-something reaper with eyes like blue fire to guide me into the world of the supernatural. Which, as it turned out, wasn't quite like the fairy tales little girls are told growing up.
Not only is magic real, more importantly, so are monsters. And apparently, I'm one of them.
But I'm getting ahead of myself here. You see, four years ago, I left my hometown and swore to never come back.
Now, my brother is dead, and I have no choice but to go searching for answers. Except finding them isn't easy when the secret society he belonged to is covering it up. I have to find out who killed him while watching my own back, because if I'm not careful, I might be next - and this time, there's no do-over. Luckily for me, Mr. Single and Hot as F--k is determined to help me keep my ass alive.
I'm a lucky, lucky girl. Some days.
Contains mature themes.

1. we have at least 3 characters that know what's going on, but for reasons they can only talk in riddles about it.
2. the protagonists gets repeatedliy told to stay put and out of the way even though it's obvious that the protagonist won't stay put and that she's clearly connected with what is happening.
3. In very important moments the protagonist gets distracted because of a man.
There are also other problems like the mind control that the succubi can use on other supernaturals, if there is no way to defend against that then the succubi would be the strongest and everybody needed to fear them not the reapers since they could just control the reapers to do their dirty work and if that isn't the case then it should've been one of the first lessons to teach the protagonist.
I also found it quite annoying how the protagonist didn't just tell the council what she found out and what exactly(details like red-eyed monster wolf instead of Werewolf) happened to her after realising that she couldn't get away with lies, it would've been the logical descision and also something that would fit the protagonists personality.
a cliché-ridden dung heap
