Having re-listened to Allen Carr's original book I was disappointed. I had relapsed and needed a manual to stay on track this time. The old book was a revelation back in the day, but couldn't really motivate me this time. This updated version really hits the nerve.
The Easyway method works great but you have to re-read or re-listen to it from time to time when you start forgetting the dread of smoking and begin to dwell in nostalgia about the good old days.
I felt invincible - he warns you about this! - and got slowly dragged back into the addiction circle. You must have the book at hand to reinforce the positive brainwashing once you realize you are being manipulated into the same old trap you already escaped once. This book is gold.
