Die Sprache des Autors ist intelligent, frech und dabei angenehm charmant. Ein Genuß sie zu hören. Auch der Sprecher ist vorzüglich ausgewählt!

Loved it from start to finish.
I do admit there was a bit of a drag in the first third of the story, but due to its impeccable writing and the speaker's talent for impressions and the right tone at the right time, even that was a joy to listen to and passed quickly as the plot thickened.
I've always enjoyed our demonic king of sass, and there is definitely no shortage of that here either.

the end was...brutally amazing. heartbreakingly beautiful finish that tied everything together and made sense even as it threatened to wrench my heart out.

Loved it. Will listen to the whole thing again 100%.
Speaker is as always perfect and his impressions on point and a joy to listen to.

I love the bartimaeus books, they are not only a good read but also a great audio book. They can be read/heard at any age and personally I think that Simon Jones does a terrific job at interpreting them, giving each character its unique voice.LISTEN TO IT!!!
