Dieses Hörbuch ist ein wahrer Genuss.
Es ist toll gesprochen und hinreißend geschrieben ( besser gesagt, das Original sehr gut ergänzt ).
Ich kann es nur weiterempfehlen.

Ein Fehler ist aufgetreten. Bitte versuche es in ein paar Minuten noch einmal.
Seit Jahren schon bin ich ein glühender Jane-Austen-Fan. Auch wenn ich "Persuasion" bevorzuge, hat "P&P" natürlich auch eine Risenportion Charme für mich. Erst recht, wenn Mr Darcy in der Form von Colin Firth daherkommt...

Entsprechend mißtrauisch war ich, als vor ungefähr einem Jahr neben den üblichen JA-RipOffs (üblicherweise Liebesromane unterschiedlicher Qualität) auch dieses hier daherkam. So mißtrauisch, daß ich bis jetzt gebraucht habe, mich daranzuwagen. Um dann festzustellen, was für ein irres (Hör-)Vergnügen das ist! Im Geiste spreche ich die ganze Zeit die Zeilen mit, die ich lange schon in- und auswendig kenne - nur um dann immer wieder von absurd gruseligen, blutigen, widerwärtigen, und durchaus auch spannenden Zombie-Einschüben ausgebremst zu werden.

Ich bin allerdings nicht davon überzeugt, daß sich dieser Spaß endlos fortsetzen läßt - ist die Originalität erst mal fort, was bleibt dann noch? Nicht sehr viel, fürchte ich. Und so werden die Sea Monsters wohl ohne mich auskommen müssen - obwohl ich mit den Zombies wirklich viel Spaß hatte!

The storyline was entertaining, not differing a lot from the original plot. At some points however, the story seemed a bit forced to fit within the made-up zombie apocalypse.
All in all a good read for listening to while on the go.
