Hidden Gem!
Auch dieser Teil legt gut los und hat zumindest zu Beginn viele und interessante Entwicklungen. Doch die Mitte zieht sich etwas, hätte kürzer sein sollen.
Auch die vermeintlichen Fehler die der MC macht, sollten eigentlich nicht sein.. weil AI und mit "höherer Intelligenz" ausgestattet. Dieser Teil stört mich etwas, aber der MC und die Story ist dennoch bei weitem besser als viele andere Bücher.
Auch die SC entwickeln sich gut und runden fehlende Kompetenzen des MC anständig ab.
ich freue mich auf den nächsten Teil und hoffe auf weitere, nicht so wie bei Jake...
PS: Zwei kleine Audiofehler, die man ggf. noch beheben sollte.

It was a promising beginning,... but you can't teach new tricks to an old AI.
The starting premise of a pinocchioed AI in a scientifically upgraded body transfering to a fantasy world is promising. However it seems like the MC left most of his knowledge on earth.
The MC time and time again finds himself outwitted and caught unaware by medieval opponents even though a short study of earth's military history would let foresee nearly all of the situations.
And even after going through multiple such encounters he still won't learn.
His origin as an AI should have given him a certain level-headedness and seemingly unlimited knowledge, but his body grants him any kind of advantage. It's more fitting for Alex to be seen as an beast who can't resist his primal urges instead of him being an AI.
It's frustrating to listen to/read this story because of his inability to learn to be cautious and him unable to see the consequences that his actions have.

Kinda following the trend
I liked the first book and how it started, but it declined already in the end by the MC being waaay to op. Sadly, this trend continued. His army is way too strong aswell. Now he turns into a nether beast and slaughtering whole armies,
