Breathtaking and magical
The narrator does such a great job in setting the mood and emotions just with small changes in his voice timbre! It was calming and engaging on the same time, I couldn't stop listening. And it was the best decision to get an audiobook first instead of a printed book, it has been absolutely wonderful time.

the beauty of nature
Das Buch beschreibt die Geschichte von Piranesi und sein Leben im Haus am Wasser. Die Beschreibungen in den Buch lassen einen sehr gekonnt in seine Welt eintauchen und wecken den Drang mehr Wissen zu wollen , wie sich alles ergeben hat.

Magical mystical and strangely calming
I found myself confused when first listening and it gradually becomes clearer. The listener is always one step ahead of Piranesi who lives alone in a magical house- he is innocent, grateful and accepting of everything that happens without every questioning who he is and why he’s there, and his relationship with the only other human there: The Other. Initially I felt clueless and sometimes irritated by the listing of dates and rooms and statues but there was also a calming aspect to the story which picks up pace about halfway. Overall, an enjoyable listen and one that will make you think.

Marvelous
Just wonderfully narrated and written, a world to get lost in. The story unfolds beautifully, the characters are believable and the setting is just ingenious. Highly recommend this audiobook ^^

A piece of Art
This story is truly unique and evokes a feeling similar to that of some abstract paintings.
Any kind of Meaning is hard to decipher but there are emotions and thoughts woven within that make this book a wonderful experience. Dont expect any Of the usual story beats. Very low on action . It is a meditative and curious journey. Loved the perspective of the naive journals and the excellent narrator.

Do not read any spoilers, just go in blind
This book is fascinating and sweeps you along with beautiful language and a fascinating mystery. It is more than worth a credit, despite its shortness. I'll definitely listen to it again.

Kreativ, literarisch, nachdenklich
Ein großartiges Buch. Eine schöne, literarische Sprache, eine phantastische und gleichzeitig tiefgründige Geschichte, die nachdenklich macht. Ein Sprecher, der so tief mit der Geschichte verbunden scheint, als hätte er selbst das Buch geschrieben. Ein Ende, einerseits klar, andererseits offen, das einen besinnlich zurücklässt. Dieses Buch hat mein Denken, mein Bild vom menschlichen Sein, ein wenig verändert.

Absolutely beautiful!
I read through the book and listened to the audiobook right after, that's how much I enjoyed this story!
The world has something so unique and special and different about it and I love this feeling of tranquility and solitude that you get.
Unbelievably beautiful and enjoyable book. It'll stay with me for a while! ❤️
