Poor Italians! They have to disposition the sole original text, so outdated and even stylistically patronising! This is the third German version I listen to and even if I admit that the one read by Felicitas Hoppe is the most faithful, this one is the most playful and creative. Man, the translator puts entire poems where originally you find only two plain sentences! The language is absolutely satisfactory with some really wity structures and vocabulary.
For me the interpretation by Stefan Kaminski is the #1 on planet Earth, but also Mr. Krüger did it with enthusiasm, energy and talent. Those 4 hours were pure joy to listen to. Thanks again.
