Celebrate Juneteenth in this classic storybook about the various festivities of the oldest national holiday commemorating the end of slavery in the United States!
Robert Cummings’ poem book teaches families to celebrate Juneteenth.
Whether it be pinning up paper chains in the house, decorating the yard with lights and decorations, cooking soul food for the Eve of Juneteenth, visiting park celebrations, patronizing Black American-owned businesses, or going out for a night on the town, Juneteenth is celebrated all over for all ages.
This book is the perfect family story for the Juneteenth holiday and for any family who is curious about what Juneteenth is, how to celebrate it, and why it is important.
This day is used as a recharge so the spirit repeats. Black American pride and freedom live within Juneteenth!
