A well narrated, slowly developing story about a young man seeking his purpose and dreams in a magical world. The book sucked me in with its carefully sculpted characters and mysterious, magical world that hints towards more adventures and hidden secrets.

Also, das Buch ist nicht was das Titelbild suggeriert, wir haben einen Assasine der vor seinem Meister flieht, um dann in irgendeinem Hinterland sich niederzulassen. Das Buch dreht sich praktisch darum, wie er sich in dem Dorf einlebt und die Probleme löst, befreundet sich mit Beasts aus dem Wald und lernt verschiedene Menschen aus dem Dorf kennen. Um gleich einmal alle Vorzuwarnen, wir haben bis 2h vor Schluss (
Soweit bin ich bis jetzt) keine Steigerung seiner Fähigkeiten. Ist also absolut eine Slice OF Life Story wo progress nur nebenher gemacht wird, zumindest im ersten Buch.
