When Shawna Haydel was 16 years old, she dropped Ashton Guidry's name into a potion that would supposedly make Ashton fall in love with her. She knew it was silly, but she clung to one irrational thread of hope their friend Patty's concoction would grant her heart's desire. Shawna's hopes were dashed when Ashton packed up her things and went away to college completely unaware of Shawna's feelings.
Twenty-three years after Patty's potion was brewed, Ashton returns to her hometown. She finds time has changed a lot, including Shawna. Ashton has done quite a bit of changing, too, and sees Shawna in a whole new light. Perhaps Patty's potion was potent after all.
In this romantic comedy, Robin Alexander has cooked up a humorous tale about enduring love and friendship.

Surprisingly Good
As I read the summary I wasn’t too sure I‘d enjoy this Story but it really is worth a listen!
It is a very sweet Story and the Characters are really likable. The humor is great! I laughed so hard sometimes.

Hilarious humor mixed with a sweet story
First of all, it’s absolutely entertaining, Robin Alexander wrote a sweet story and filled it with tons of great humor… There was never a dull moment and the characters were just love able. Sometimes the side characters stole the show.
And Lori Prince worked her magic gave every character its unique touch and made me see a movie in my head. I just love her voice and that talent to really tell the story.
Some just read the books without any emotion, like an AI, she brought them to life.
It’s definitely very worth listening to! Enjoy!

Sehr gefühlvoll geschrieben und die Szenen zwischen Oma und Uroma haben mich so hart zum Lachen gebracht - kann ich sehr empfehlen
