When it comes to a Catherine Walsh book, I'm looking to have a real Dr. Seuss experience because I would read it on an airplane (and I have, 10/10 recommend), I would read it in the bath (I don't like baths but I'd change my personality), I would read it at work (shhh don't tell my boss), I would even read it on a remote Irish island (where I want to move after reading this book). The gently snarky voice, the hilariously awkward situations, the beautifully tender moments, the feeling of pure joy and escape . . . nobody's doing it quite like Catherine Walsh.
