Well, this is a book about history, without a story. Basically, a lot of chronologically ordered facts and events and nothing else. More or less no background of the time and the background and reasons of the main characters. As accurate and interesting as the yellow pages. In my opinion only good to develop an aversion for history.

Maybe ok for a historian. Boring for all others.
