even though the narratives are still very enjoyable, Neil is unfortunately a very mediocre narrator.

It’s was an absolute pleasure to listen to the Man, Neil Gaiman himself, reading his book of Norse Mythology. He wrote it and he brought it, splendidly, to live. Thanks, Neil 🫶🏻

Ich habe die Edda geliebt, aber sehr viel vergessen. Neil bringt die Geschichten so großartig auf den Punkt und erzählt mit so viel Liebe zu diesen Geschichten - man hört sie aus jeder Silbe. Ich hatte sehr viel Freude beim Hören. Nicht nur, aber definitiv auch, wegen Gaimans Stimme. Er liest das Buch selbst, und seine englische Phonetik höre ich sehr, sehr gern. Tranks a bunch, Mr. Gaiman! You, your voice and your stories make the world a place even more worth living in ❤️
