Tjis series changed my life

Still gloriously too much of everything! NEEEEED the next book! This is brilliant. It's got all the tropes and breaks with them all at the same time. It's got compilcated, intricate & indulging language in the same breath as dry humour and a constant "that's what she said" giggle. It's peak queer & disability representation. I have no idea what's going on half of the time, but I know Tamsyn Muir does and I wanna find out about it. Captivating af. Dystopian Future with all these wonderfully loveable and loathsome characters just doing their best. It's devastatingly beautiful, and devastatingly sad. Aaaaaaaaahhhhhhh! Beware, no happy endings here and plenty of explicit body & gore stuff. This is so good, I want everyone to listen/read. 999 out if 5 stars!

Loved it!

Moira Quirk has the most addicting voice! The story is 100% completely different from the other two books and I love them all.

Incredible 3rd installment

I LOVE THIS SO MUCH. Honestly my favourite of them all now, I fell so deeply in love & care with the characters and didn’t want this to end. It’s been a long while since I have experienced such feelings for a series and I feel brought back to my teens in the best way. Also incredible performance by the reader, truly excellent. Cannot wait for the last instalment!

Finally, cleared up some things

The lightness of it after the extreme confusion we experienced with Harrow. ai was overall very happy at the end off this book even if I wanted to punch them all for arguing so long.

A weird captivating story come to life

Moira Quirk really breathes life into this audio book. Not that it would need that, there is already so much life in it (weird to say that when it's a about necromancers and when a pretty heavy portion of people are already dead). But the story continues weird and genius and relatable and epic in a fun way. Very fun way.
And of course there is noodle. Everyone loves noodle.

Indeed, I do love nona.

Despite waiting for this book and building up the excitement for it, it delivered and then some. I love how each book shows the perspective of the main character, how that view affects the writing. It's also great to see more of the world, to have some questions answered and then to get new ones. Binged the whole thing and I don't regret it.
As for the narrator, Moira Quirk gave an amazing performance, got the audio book especially because of her. All the accents, flavor in noises and the acting. Honestly, I just want more. (But also I don't, because the way it is is just perfect.)
I'm not wordy, so I can't translate my excitement that well, but I can explain it like this. (TMI, probably) The whole experience, of the story and the narrator kicked the burnout and the depression so hard, that I feel my face alive again. Made some many expression, from that stupid smile, to laughter and crying. Can't wait for more... will wait, as long as I need to.

It is true, I did love Nona

for a series selling itself as necromancer space lesbians there was a surprising lack of space and skeletons for a big part of the book. But thats okay because all i ever wanted was more Nona and Noodles shenanigans.
I don't think I will ever emotionally recover from this book. it has been weeks and i still think about it daily.

Book two all over again without the great ending

Once again, the main persona apparently has an immense power, but it doesn’t bring her anything since she lost her memory again, till in and about the last page. In between hardly anything happens and when it does, it is so confusing you have no clue of what is going on.
The stories of John about the beginning are very interesting and well narrated, so one star extra.
