low stakes, which i like in a comfort read but the story/characters are lacking in depth

I loved the beginning and the drama and stuff but it would be nice to hear something out of Vincent's perspective. The spicy sense where good but a little wired. It ended very abruptly. And in my opinion it talked way to much about books.
