This is the story of Coco and Beau. It is told in the present when they meet for a job interview in their hometown, and in flashbacks how they met and how they lost each other. And also how they have moved on. Finally, we also learn something about the somewhat strange relationship between Harrison and Coco, which was hinted in book 1.
I found this story more interesting but parts of the plot weren't told as good as they could have been.
I wouldn't recommend reading this as a standalone but rather read "Never kiss a stranger" first.

Cute and Enjoyable

Ein Fehler ist aufgetreten. Bitte versuche es in ein paar Minuten noch einmal.
Die protagonisten sind unglaublich egozentrisch, unreif und zeigen kaum eine Spur Empathiefähigkeit. Daher erscheint die ganze Geschichte wie eiskalt auf dem Reißbrett konstruiert. Die Schriftstellerin scheint das für ALLE Beteiligten schmerzhafte Thema Adoption selbst nicht hinreichend nachvollziehen zu können. Selbst das Konzept Liebe kommt mir etwas befremdlich vor - man liebt sich angeblich, sucht über 10 Jahren keinen Kontakt oder weiß trotz gemeinsamer Freunde und Bekannte sowie Internet nicht, was der/die jewils andere tut? Als ob ein Musiker jeden Abend auftreten würde und in den 3560 Tagen keine Zeit zu finden gewesen wäre, wenn man an den/die andere denkt - insbesondere, nachdem der Protagonist nach 5 Jahren eine für die Beziehung wirklich wichtige Information bekommen hat.
