The new novel takes up speed as it goes along. At the beginning a little bit confusing, everything becomes very clear. Murderbot at its best, made me cry and laugh again and again.

This was great, I'm only at the beginning of my Sci-Fi reading phase but it's really a great start. This full length book was super exciting and fun. All the important people are there, there's a lot of character interaction and development. The thing that often bothers me about complex books is the unsatisfying world-building But this universe isn't explained in a totally elaborate way but there's so much context that this universe makes sense in itself and that's worth a lot to me. So I like the universe I like the characters and the story was also very exciting, although we don't know exactly what's going on with the infected colony but that wasn't the main plot of the book so I'm fine with having no idea what's going on :) and maybe we'll find out in a later book.

On a relistening still good, but the formula gets a little stale. I understand why it had been novellas so far.

This series is absolutely adorable and just such great fun to listen to. Some of Murderbot's POV "insights" (analyses? averaged calculation results?) had me burst out laughing. Can't wait for the story to continue.

I just love everything about it! The story is thrilling and the narrator makes it even better! I'm going to listen to the other books too although I already read them.

While I rated the previous book already a little lower with the feeling that it was more of the same and Murderbot was simply too powerful, this full novel is better again. The longer book allows for a more complex story, which has a good pacing between action sequences and talking. The Murderbot character gets more complex, which is interesting to read. Even though the "love" between ART and MB is a bit over the top for comedic effect in passages, it's a good idea. Also MB isn't always on top of the situation and the other main characters play a major role as well. Especially MB 2.0 and SecUnit 3 offer great support that our MB really needs. Overall: just a few areas where this book could have been a bit more focused. Otherwise, I really enjoyed it.
