One of King's best Books, gladly give it five stars...but the music and sound effects are annoying and sometimes even distracting!!! It's a book not a movie!!Please stop doing that!!!

I always try to guess how Stephen King will end a story, and I’m almost always surprised. I will admit, I didn’t expect this ending, but it works.

It’s always interesting to me to hear the author read their books, because this way you get all the tones and inflictions they imagined when creating their works.

Trepidant. If I only had one word for this book it would be trepidant. It moves quickly, it builds the characters consistently up, there are no loose ends or "cul de sacks". I appreciate the effort from the author in the reading, not professional at times but always authentic. When possible, I like the voice of the writer backing up his/her work.
It is pure King. What you see, is what you get.

wie gewohnt von King, gut geschrieben, aber nach kurzer Zeit ist klar, worauf es hinausläuft. Geschichte zieht sich in die Länge, wird immer unrealistischer, zu viele Charaktere führen dazz, dass man nicht mehr folgen kann (was auch nicht nötig ist)

sehr viel Personal unterwegs und wenn man das Prinzip erstmal verstanden hat, was relativ früh der Fall ist, wird die Geschichte extrem langweilig. Dass geheimnisvolle Kraefte am Werk sind, ist bei King ja nicht überraschend, aber hier schwer zu akzeptieren. Ein sehr schwaches Werk.
