This is a marvelous debut by Jessica George. A very authentic story of a young woman in London, Maddie : Maame. I was deeply moved by the daughter-father relationship and the mourning process of Maddie. I can very well relate to it from own experience. Very insightful words on mourning.
And I loved the speaker of this audio, her proficiency in both British and Ghanaen English accents, as well as Twi!

What an outstanding captivating book. I could not stop listening to the audio book. Well thought out and the audiobook narrator did a great job. I would highly recommend this book to anybody that understand cultural clashes, a strict upbringing, financial instability and grief.
