I really like this series. It is light entertainment (compared to John Marrs or Michael Wood whose books I really like) but so nice and consistent, with a credible underlying story and good characters. Plus T A Williams has a very good sense of humour which makes the books even more enjoyable (and people around me wondering what I’m reading when I suddenly burst out laughing).
