Über diesen Titel

When a guest at a séance dies under suspicious circumstances, Inspector Haze and Lord Redmond quickly realize his death was a cleverly plotted execution. The main suspects are the other guests - including Daniel’s wife Sarah. Delving into the life of the deceased reveals a growing list of possible suspects, while the motive remains elusive.

Can Daniel remain objective as he and Jason try to solve this most challenging mystery?

Perfect for fans of Anne Perry and C.S. Harris.

Fun murder mystery like Clue or the Orient Express. Big cast of characters and the narrator does excellent voices making them distinct. Highly recommend.

This was a fun one!

Nice historical crime mystery about loss and grief. Nothing spectacular --- just everyday human tragedies (of the 19th century). But this is more than enough to keep me entertained.

I have been listening to all episodes so far and this one was less interesting than previous ones. Attention: spoilers ahead.

At the beginning of the story, one vital question was: who had taken hold of the key to the vault? I know that I sound like the annoying armchair detective now, but I could not understand why nobody pursued this line of questioning. In particular in light of the solution of the crime.

Looking back at the other episodes, I have been asking myself in this episode how the suicide of Daniel’s wife could have been disguised. As far as I remember, the listener has not been informed how it was possible for the main character to bury his wife in a graveyard although she committed suicide.

I’m pleased that this audiobook was for free because I would have been disappointed if I had paid money in order to listen to it.

The medical information was the most interesting
