As a bookish, introverted database programmer, Morgen Keller never thought she was a candidate for a midlife crisis. That was before her husband divorced her, her boss let her go, and her grandmother died. Forty wasn’t supposed to look like this.

Ich mag die Geschichten dieser Autorin generell sehr gern, da sie oft ältere Heldinnen entwirft, die schon etwas erlebt haben und wissen was sie wollen und was nicht. Keine jungfräuliche erste Liebe, mit jede Menge unlogischem Hin-und Herzweifeln. Sehr erfrischend. Die Geschichten selbst sind auch interessant und lustig geschrieben. Es gibt nur hin und wieder logische Lücken im Plot und manchmal schleicht sich bei mir das Gefühl ein, dass er künstlich in die Länge gezogen wird, um noch einen Band schreiben zu können.

I'm from germany, so sorry in advance, if my english is lacking... but I want to say, how much I enjoyed this audio book! The story is really good, I love all those little quirks of the characters and the humor was great! And I especially love the slow romance story, perfect pacing so far. :)
At first I was sceptical over the narrator, but boy was I wrong, she is the perfect choice for this series. I really warmed up to her work and she's easy to understand, even if she is snarling sexy mexican werwolf-voices!
Can't wait for the next book and lucky me... they are all out, so I can bing-hear them in one go! :D *downloads the next book asap*
