The story itself is great, I've read the books a couple of times, but the performance was a letdown. The narrator was overly dramatic, and the character voices felt very forced and poorly executed. Worth it for the plot, but the audio delivery could be much better. Too much drama in the voice for both a cosy SF in general as well as specific topics. I mean, what is dramatic about opening a door?
