 When Michael Palin was researching for his novel HEMINGWAY'S CHAIR his interest was stimulated by Hemingway's appetite for travel and 'Papa's' evocations of the places he knew. Hemingway remains a compelling figure, and Palin's goal was to revisit Hemingway's world.

Interesting men, Hemingway & Palin, so - obviously - this is an interesting "read".
But someone has chosen to have music, the same music, playing in the background at the beginning and end of the chapters. Why? I found this irritating, distracting, and unnecessary. It spoiled the experience. Especially as the chapters are relatively short.
