ok so as a Long term argeneau fan , here my critik if you dont like it , dont read it :) so far , there are lots of books that wasnt my fav , but still ok . this book was … short? it felt really short at all. lots of Things happens, but somehow they feel flat , as if there isnt this peek where you cry for your hero .. Maybe bec so many thinks happen? i find the Topics intresting, itzs hard to not write all the time About the same so i really like that lynsay trys to find new fields. this time ist About an hiv - ex Police Investigation CSI Femal and an 3000 year old argeneau ( brother in law of Teddy the Police Officer) that is working in a home Office lab on blood Research. the Job itself is Kind of short explained , not what he really does ore what he researched :( sadly , i somehow only hear one time About some of the Girls, that cant get pregnatn bec she has a Virus?? that would given to her Baby too, so she cant get pregnant , if Mac Research on this iam not sure but i guess??? The Femal here , C.J is the main carakter in this book bec we know a looooooot About her after half the book, i like it, all this Background Story makes her an perfekt carakter, you learn About her shes a Person, and has a Story you can feel . Mac on the other Hand feels empty :/ so many years old but no Background :( other old argeneau have more to tell About there life . the romance itself is smooth and without really Problems, the bad ass that did hurt them , are Kind of short too, no Drama lama ore so , yust some Show up and thats it … somehow , i miss the Drama here . Maybe iam yust so used of Long Hours of running for life and Fighting not getting a breath of Peace i dont know. the voice of the Speaker … was ok but sometimes her voice soundet off. like there was some stressfull time, and she soundet as if the man would cry, and not tell ruff … othertimes he whispers ..and she sounds again as if shes close to crying … her Sound didnt match the Topic and the words shes reading :) books are still better to read than audiobooks i think . so i get a better Option About all. iam waiting for next book we still miss the idiot of Doktor that escaped didnt we? and there are still lotssssss of argeneaus not married ore under liddle miss Dating agencys treat . and somehow … i wish for the teen from port Henry to being Young adult and find her lifemate and she can close off all the Things in her brain . i really loved her .
