Even though I often find inspiration in Kim Krans' work, I was a bit skeptical of this piece of work. But she manages to use spoken word and subtle sound to do to the ears what her art does for the eyes--meet and engage with the mystical within us and the world around us. And she always ends by planting our mystic feet back down on the ground.
Each 6-ish minute meditation reveals a "gift" that each card archetype gives specifically to you. If you actually do each meditation, the effect is cumulative. I find it also helpful to have a journal nearby to take notes and make sketches of what each meditation reveals,
Tarot students will note that this is not rote tarot interpretations but rather creates an expanded experience and understanding of these archetypes. I especially appreciated the Chariot meditation, which expanded my understanding of my own heart as the chariot I ride.
Recommended for: audio learners, tarot teachers & students, mystics, mystic curious, people interested in archetypes, meditators who like guided meditations, people short on time
Especially lovely to listen to with morning coffee, over lunch break, or before going to bed-any time you can find a space to pause and close your eyes to listen within.
