Sophie Kinsella is one of my favourite authors, and Love Your Life might just be her best book yet. It's a joyful, hilarious and heart-warming tale of the challenges we face when we sign up to be part of someone else's life. It made me laugh out loud and it made me cry happy tears - I adored it.
As close to perfect as romantic comedies get.
Kinsella is back with a relatable heroine, lots of laughs and a romance you'll be rooting for . . . A feel-good Christmas treat.
As warm as the Italian sunshine and full of fun. A fabulous Italian appetiser, like a platter of antipasti, a stunning, satisfying mix of romance and real life; with characters that you will fall in love with, that will leave you smiling with joy. Like a glorious dinner party with friends, it left me feeling happy, warm and staying up far later than I should so as not to miss a thing. I loved it! It left me wanting more!

Unfortunately I can't really recommend this book... It was sweet, but there was nothing really going on. So it did get quite lengthy and, in fact, pretty boring, I must say.... I'm sorry to have to say this. Usually I really like S. Kinsella's stories.

The Speaker had a very nice voice and a very pleasant way of speaking though! Only, the male voices sound a bit robotic the way she speaks them. But that's not too bad.

Leider fand ich vor allem die Hauptperson äußerst anstrengend, im Verlauf wurde sie etwas angenehmer, aber richtig warm wurde ich nicht mit der Geschichte. Im Vergleich zu anderen Sophie Kinsella Büchern enttäuschend

I am sorry to say so, but this is the second Kinsella book in a row, that I did not like. I missed the witty style, the truly comic situations. I could not at all warm to the characters of this book. I am somewhat disappointed.

I have read many of her books, but I couldn't help but feel incredibly annoyed by the main character nearly throughout the story. It got a little better towards the last third, then decreased again towards the end. It may also be that at my age I'm simply growing out of this type of style. Absolutely loved Twenties Girl and Can You Keep a Secret. This one not so much. But that's just me and tastes vary.

Habe mich sehr gefreut, ein neues Hörbuch von der Autorin vorzufinden, eins, das nicht in eine merkwürdige Serie gehört. Denn nur dann machen mir die Bücher der Autorin Spaß.
Hier eine schön geschriebene, oft lustige Geschichte. Unterhaltsamkeit steht im Vordergrund. Die Hauptperson ist etwas versponnen, die Namen der Freunde sind sehr merkwürdig - allesamt, finde ich. Aber es tat für mich der Sache keinen echten Abbruch, ich fühlte mich durchgehend wunderbar unterhalten und erheitert. Dankeschön, mehr von dem Kaliber auf den Markt! Ich weiß, wovon ich spreche, ich suche sehr oft verzweifelt halbwegs Hörbares und scheitere nicht nur ausnahmsweise. Es ist schon eine Kunst, ein so zufriedenstellendes Buch bzw Hörbuch auf die Beine zu stellen.
